CTSP to Host Integrated Security Systems Workshop Powered by Tavcom at the SiX Event

The Register of Certified Technical Security Professionals (CTSP) to Celebrate Second Anniversary at New Event for Security Installers and Integrators

The Register of Certified Technical Security Professionals (CTSP) will celebrate its second anniversary when it hosts the ‘CTSP Workshop Powered by Tavcom Training (part of the Linx International Group and operator of the Register) at the  SiX electronic security event. The event for UK security installers and integrators takes place on 5th and 6th November 2019 at Event City in Manchester.

The SiX event acknowledges that new and emerging technologies have allowed system integrators and security installers to adopt a range of new working practices, and will focus on maximising the impact of these latest innovations in today’s solutions. The CTSP Workshop will provide visitors the with the opportunity to get hands-on with the latest integrated security systems. CTSP Registrar, Kevin Matthew states: “The CTSP Register is celebrating its second anniversary and there is no better place to be than amongst the installers and integrators we serve and support.”

The SiX event is organised by Pro-Activ Publications Ltd, the publishers of Magazine whose Editor, Andy Clutton said: “When it came to looking at partners for the inaugural SiX event we decided to look at organisations that shared our goal of raising the professional standard of the industry. The CTSP Register is an initiative that PSI Magazine has followed keenly and supported since its inception. We are very pleased to have experts from CTSP deliver a technology workshop at SiX – It’s sure to be a show highlight.”

The CTSP Register was formed in 2017 as a means of recognising the competency of technical security professionals fulfilling roles in the security and fire systems sectors.  This includes: Engineers/Technicians (Installation, Maintenance and Commissioning), System Designers, Auditors and Consultants.  It allows consumers, employers and contractors to search the register to validate professional competence. Today security practitioners working the UK and across the globe are able to use the CTSP post-nominal and are represented on the public online Register.
